[June 21] Harvestworks at InterActive Music New York
Harvestworks Digital Media Center will participate in the fourth annual Make Music New York festival with hands on demonstrations of wii remotes as musical and video controllers and performances by musical artist Laurel Halo (Laurel Chartow) and new media artist Laura Simpson at the intersection of 9th Avenue and West 14th Street.

InterActive Music New York (IAMNY!) is a unique free program of interactive music performances and outdoor installations to be held on Monday June 21, 2010 from noon until 8pm as part of the fourth annual Make Music New York (MMNY) festival, “the largest music event ever to grace Gotham.”
IAMNY! is a free outdoor music program taking place in the Meatpacking District, on 9th Avenue between Gansevoort and 14th Street. At two stage areas, music artists and their instruments will present original compositions that interact with the audience, the immediate environment, or with various forms of technology to deliver a dynamic and spontaneous musical experience. Interactive music demonstration areas, and custom instrument making will also be part of this exciting program. Bring your interactive spirit, curiosity and explore the largest outdoor concert of interactive music in Manhattan! InterAct New York!!
