Bio:
Sean McCallum is a freelance A/V technician and artist working out of Brooklyn, NY. He has worked as a technician/artists assistant for several artists including LED artist Leo Villareal helping to build pieces such as Cylinder 2. Sean has also worked in the live events industry for the past 12 years with production companies such as 4Wall, Reynard Productions, and Moment Factory as a video technician and engineer. He managed and helped develop several large scale video projects such as the video mapping for first Brooklyn Mirage in Bushwick and Moment Factory’s large scale video installation at 25 Broadway in Manhattan.
It was during his time working with Moment Factory he rediscovered his passion for new media art and design from their use of interactive storytelling and cutting edge projection mapping. He’s been self-training in a variety of softwares over the past several years with Touch designer being the primary focus. Sean is currently working towards taking his Touch designer skills into the world of live A/V art.
