Friday, July 30, 2021 @ 7 pm Harvestworks & The Listening Biennialwill present Body in Transit by Brooklyn based multimedia artist, composer and Harvestworks Resident Surabhi Saraf featuring poetry reading by Bay Area based Filipina American writer, artist, Dorothy Santos. The program will be streamed live on Harvestworks’s Youtube Channel. FREE.
July 30, 2021 @ 2 pm Collab-Hub creators Nick Hwang, Anthony T. Marasc, Eric Sheffield and workshop participants will perform live using the platform. Tune into the Harvestworks YouTube channel.

Produced by Harvestworks the exhibitions aims to understand social and cultural changes reflected through the lens of art and artists. Artists include Dafna Naphtali,Jakob DwightJoseph MorrisCharlotte MundyAndrew Demirjianand Valérie Hallier and Sergey Kasich. Tickets are not required.

2021 – 2022 New Works and Creative Residency Program

Announcing The New Works and Creative Residency Program 2021 – 2022, a national program that awards contemporary American artists and legal US residents working in sound art and emerging technology a $5000 commission to research and produce a new artwork. The residencies will take place in New York City at the Harvestworks’ Technology, Engineering, Art and Music Lab (T.E.A.M). We will adhere to all COVID health guidelines. APPLICATIONS will be open from August 4, 2021 – September 1, 2021.

We were happy to have Alex M. Lee as a Workspace Resident this summer developing his new VR work. Also, summer intern Seongeun Kim conducted one of the Creative Coding with Processing and Shaders Workshop in July.
