LiveCode.NYC starts the season!

This Weekend – LiveCode.NYC!

Friday April 28 – May 14, 2023 Regen Circuit:LiveCode.NYC Residency at the Harvestworks Art and Technology Program on Governors Island. Check here for the calendar of events and here for the exhibition information. This is a Satellite Event for this year’s International Conference of Live Coding (ICLC). Open Fri. Sat. and Sun. from 11 am to 4:45 pm. Building 10a, Nolan Park.

Friday Apr 28 Regen Circuit Performances starting at 1 pm For opening day of the exhibition, LiveCode.NYC members will activate the space by filling the Harvestworks building with live sound and visuals. These happenings will occur intermittently throughout the day.


Saturday Apr 29 starting at 1 pm Introduction to Live Coding, LiveCode.NYC, and the Inspiration behind Regen Circuit. LiveCode.NYC members Indira Ardolic, Melody Loveless, and Ramsey Nasser will discuss live coding, LiveCode.NYC, and the inspiration behind Regen Circuit in a short-presentation. Stop by to learn more about the live coding, the live coding community in NYC, and to hear more about how this exhibition came to life. RSVP encouraged.

Saturday Apr 29 starting at 3 pm Audiovisual Performances by Roxanne Harris, Michael Simpson, and emptyflash.


Sunday Apr 30 starting at 1 pm Workshop by Cameron Alexander (aka emptyflash) on working with feedback and fractals with Hydra, a live coding library for visuals. RSVP encouraged.

Sunday Apr 30 starting at 3 pm Performances by Sarika Doppalapudi, Viola He, and Emma Waddell using machine learning and experimental plastic textiles made with recycled plastic bags. RSVP encouraged.
