Drone Clone returns to Harvestworks with a new multichannel work. It will weave found sound, guitar and live processing using electronic and analog textures to create moving stories about nostalgia, disappearing landscapes and memory. Drone Clone is extremely interested in the ephemeral nature of our daily lives and the topography of experience. The sonic landscapes constructed throughout the performance will aim to mimic the decay and transiency present in our cognitive states.

The work will weave found sound, guitar and live processing using electronic and analog textures to create moving stories about nostalgia, disappearing landscapes and memory. Drone Clone is extremely interested in the ephemeral nature of our daily lives and the topography of experience. The sonic landscapes constructed throughout the performance will aim to mimic the decay and transiency present in our cognitive states.Through an immersive multi channel surround-scape Drone Clone creates a connection to sonic environment and climate. Cognition and memory are in this case surrounded by a kind of psychoacoustic climate. By incorporating field recordings in the composition Drone Clone further displaces the experience and it’s geography from it’s original source. The documentary nature of the recording becomes submerged within algorithmic process to mimc the effect of time and senses on memory and experience.
The performance will be divided in three scored movements approximately 20 min long.
